Designers are letting the paint fly with wild abandon as of late, taking their brushes to a smattering of accessories as if they were canvases in a studio. Perhaps in a passionate rebellion against the controlled pixels that have infiltrated our lives, the hand of the artist is re-asserting its dominance with recklessness and spontaneity. There are different strokes for plenty of blokes: Matisse motifs, Pollockian plops, Spin-Art swirls, and painterly Picasso.
What do you think, ladies? I think we might have to just dole out some Monet and Gogh for it.
