…Okay, so our good friend Will may not have used these exact words. But, I’m going to take the liberty of assuming he would have, if he would have only had the chance to behold the perfection of a well-placed crystal collar necklace, or the collective rabid hunger for those elusive Birkins.
Accessories have the unique power of completely transforming a look faster than you can unzip that Balenciaga bag or whip out those Prada sunnies. For being so small, they hold such immense possibility, offering us infinite ways to express ourselves and craft our identities piece by piece. And, in a way that even our most beloved LBD can’t, they always stand by us, day after day, like faithful companions. They celebrate our history, relationships, milestones, and the things we treasure most.
So, when you think about it, accessories are far from frivolous. In fact, they are an important and indispensable part of us. I hope to share with you their evolution, innovation, meaning, adaptability, and, most of all, their magic.
